The Arenal Volcano has the most perfect cone of all the volcanoes in the world. It has been famous and recognized worldwide due to the wonderful eruptions in the past. However, the Arenal Volcano is completely inactive.
The walk to Arenal Volcano Park is approximately 2 or 3 hours. A local guide specialized in nature and history will take you to observe the wildlife that inhabits this awesome place, you'll walk a long trails at the foot-hill of the Arenal Volcano, during this nature walk you can see hummingbirds, lizards, insects, hawks, snakes and a lot more.
